Slow and steady....and slow

It's happening...I am actually still loosing weight - I'm down to 203, which is so close to under 200 I'm ecstatic. (I had secret hopes of getting under 200 before Tim and Kelly's wedding this weekend, but I guess that won't happen.) But I am also realizing how long there is go to...Once I hit 200, I'll have made it 25% of the way, but it's been kindda rough. I wouldn't say I'm hungry all the time, but I'm definitely hungry often. Eating out is still one of the hardest things to figure out; many places now have "heathly" menus, but for the most part, they feature egg whites, steamed veggies, or fish ....I'm not a big fan of eggs in their natural, fatty form, while I like veggies as a side dish, I'm not a fan of them as my main course, and as much as I wish I liked fish, I just don't. (I take that back - James made me fish once that was wonderful and I loved it...of course, it was wrapped in bacon so I'm guess the nutritional value isn't all that great).

I will praise Chili's and their guiltless grill - mostly fish still, but they have a totally yummy Carne Asada steak with broccoli that I really love.

Of course, the other option is just not eat out so much, which I must say, wouldn't be the worse thing in the world; after all, we are trying to save for our new house, so NOT dropping $40-$50 bucks on a dinner once or twice a week is a good thing....I just wish I didn't enjoy it so much.

But that's not true - I'm glad I enjoy eating out and it's always a good date night for Vincent and I - I actually don't want to find that unenjoyable; I just need to exercise a little more discipline (yuck).
